We at Easy Nter Global Ltd have been monitoring the situation closely and we are giving you our first updates on developments in travel, visa and immigration in response to the present global pandemic.
Here are the important changes that have occurred over the past several weeks:
Flights: As restrictions are gradually eased across the world, major airlines have proposed to resume flights from June as airports reopen. However, the flights will operate at around 60% capacity to give room for social distancing in the plane, also the use of face masks will be mandated. Emirates airlines is currently running a test on passengers before boarding. Expect a 50% rise or more in flight rates due to the reduced flying capacity.
Easy Nter Global Ltd will keep monitoring the situation of each airlines and update you again in the following weeks.
Embassies:
Our logistic team is monitoring embassy openings and new regulations as regards Visa application. Consular services will resume for essential travels over the coming weeks for some embassies. Essential travel is travel for Medical, Business, Education or Work reasons.
Tourism is put on hold for now. The embassies are working towards online document submission and fee payments to minimize contacts between people as much as possible. Expect a rise in electronic visas and electronic visa applications.
Travel opportunities: As travel is geared towards the essential purposes, we at Easy Nter Global Limited will be processing applications for those who intend to relocate to Canada in 2020/2021 through the study Scheme.
There is an increase in demand for Public Health workers and Nurses in the UK. If you embark on studies in these programs and related ones in the UK, you are on the path to securing your work permit and settling in the UK. We will update you on these opportunities in the coming Travel update .
Special Update on Canada: The Canadian Citizen and Immigration portal is accepting visa applications and documentations online. Applications and fees are paid online. If you have done biometrics before, you do not require another one for a period of 10 years.
If you have not done biometrics with the Canadian embassy, you are given a period of 90 days (instead of 30 days because of the lock-downs that are just being lifted) to complete your biometrics. All our pending applications will be submitted online. Also if your visa has expired or will expire before October because of the lock down, contact us.
The next Business meeting in Canada is the Toronto SME Business Expo, rescheduled to October 2020 because of the corona virus. The event is scheduled as a first step to revive small and medium scale industries that have been affected by the current crisis.
