Bako Kotangora Stadium, Niger Tornadoes dealt heavily with Kwara United FC
ending the match in a 4 – 0 scoreline. Gata’s own goal started the whitewashing
of Kwara United in just two minutes into the game. Later in the 17th minute
Emmanuel doubled the lead for Niger Tornadoes. Hashim’s brace in the 51st
and 54th minute sealed the victory for Abubakar Bala side.

League Leaders
Despite Rivers United loosing away to Nassarawa United they
have maintained their lead with 10 points above Plateau United. Plateau United
sits second on the log with 61 points. Hence Rivers United are the Champions of
2021/2022 NPFL season with three matches to go. However the second and third
spots remained opened between Plateau United, Remo Stars, Rangers United and
Enyimba FCfor the team to represent Nigeria on the continent.
